This project is a live 3D data visualisation of satellites orbiting earth. This uses the NORAD GP Element Sets from celestrak.org to pull in TLE (two-line element set) formatted data. Then by using the SGPdotNET C# library, this TLE data is converted to usable coordinates and altitudes which allows the satellites to be visualised over a model earth.

Usage:
Use the WASD keys to move the camera , and click on satellites to view more detailed information, and see a predicted orbit path. There are time controls at the bottom of the screen allowing you to speed up, pause and reverse time.

A space mystery game created in Unity and C#.
This was a group project at university which included artists, writers, designers and programmers all utilising the agile project management methodology.
I developed backend components of the game including the autonomous "roombas" self driving and logic, interaction and highlighting of objects, door keypads and code system, and managing the fading of obstructive walls.
We had a couple months for initial brainstorming and planning of the game, then between January and May of 2023 we concurrently developed the story, art, models, audio and code. And finally showcased the game at the Falmouth University Games Academy Expo 2023.

This simulation is an engaging exhibit showcasing global earthquake activity over the past 24 hours.
Using a combination of hardware and software, the physical globe allows users to interact with a virtual globe that displays recent earthquake locations and sizes.
Hardware components include a 128-position rotary encoder for horizontal rotation and a 30-pin capacitive touch sensor board for vertical rotation. These mechanisms enable users to align earthquake points with a reticle on the screen, providing detailed information such as location, time, and magnitude.
The design integrates seamlessly within a physical globe, housed within a plastic frame to minimise interference, and utilises a 4-wire slip ring to connect the Arduino inside the globe to Unity on a computer outside for the visualisation.
The software aspect of the simulation involves importing earthquake data from the US Geological Survey website and implementing Arduino sketch files for reading inputs from the rotary encoder and touch sensor.
Overall, the simulation provides an immersive and informative experience for users, blending technology with natural phenomena to enhance understanding and engagement with seismic activity.

This security system is composed of a GNSS/NB-IoT module, an Arduino, a server to manage the data and messages, and a mobile application.
The GNSS/NB-IoT module is used to track the location of the vehicle and send it over an IoT-designed mobile network to the server.
This is achieved using the MQTT protocol to send messages between the Arduino and server, reducing data usage and increasing speed.
A RESTful API is used to send data between the server and mobile application, allowing the user to view the location of the vehicle on an interactive map.
The server, RESTful API, and MySQL database are containerized using Docker and are written using Java & Spring Boot.
The app is written using Flutter/Dart, and the Arduino code is in C++.
